Kind of what I noted on 9/17:
Bottom Line: One has to look out for oneself .... and therefore if the current coach cannot be a "king" there is now the opportunity to at least be a "kingmaker." One must do what is best for oneself ....
The motivational transparency of this is really not that difficult to see .... unless of course your caught up in a world of continuous cheerleading, and being an apologist.

I just dislike the "transition." You are either retired, or active. Don't create an artificial construct just because you want to hang on a bit longer BUT STILL pick your successor. It smacks of selfishness.
