Re: UNH Wildcats 2015-2016 (Part Three) - Living in Interesting Times

Looked it up
Michigan 22 years 1991-2012
UNH 10 years 2002-2011
Still amazing. I think all UNH fans would like to see a streak get started again.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Just like this one, all those seasons ended with complaints about the coach

So true, as I remember complaining about playing one of the three forwards back in the 2003 NC game, and leaving MA in too long in the 2002 SF game. Seems ironic in recalling those complaints now.

not to change the subject, well actually do. Any word on non conference schedule for next year, for those of us who will be around to watch the team

Have not heard anything. But, what teams would we like to see for OOC games, other than the guaranteed four against Maine (2), UVM, and Dartmouth? That leaves eight; so, maybe two each against teams in AHC, EZAC, and BiG, and two against a NCHC or WCHA team? And, that reminds me, I believe that I heard somewhere that we would be traveling to Colorado for two? No holiday tournaments, right?

Watching Pesce and company in control with what could be the end of Bruins post-season participation for second season in a row.

Welp Pesce has played well and here we go to OT...dang did we miss him this season...understatement of the freaking year!

Philly and Detroit can't BOTH win tonight

you got me there Felger...:D I really don't know the semantics just that the B's are still hanging in there? Can't seem to find the exact info so fill me in...what else do we have to talk about? Prob is, as I see it, both Philly and Detroit have more games left to play hence more potential points to earn, yes? B's season is toast...rooting for the BHawks!

DU (not the school out West), Jerry York, and Tim Whitehead each has one.

Hate to root against a hockey east team but would like to see QU beat BC.

Hear hear - we are in agreement. Just have this sinking feeling though that BC wins another one this weekend.

UGH...they've gotta get past QU tonight. Bet it comes down to Garteig v Demko...but am thinking BC has the offensive edge with more loaded guns so you could be right...And your Redwings are surging Chuck!!!! B's will mail it in most likely. Oh well, stick a fork in it. Kind of like our season...honestly, there are so many interesting comparisons to UNH hockey and the Boston B's this year, hopeful for a turnaround, and right quick!!!

Fun watching D-men who can skate the puck out of their own zone, make tape-to-take passes, and jump into the offensive play. Great game after two.
