Looks like Hockey East is toast, too...

Tough, tough loss for BC. The kind of loss we UNH fans can relate to. Even though BC got to the Frozen Four they seemed to falter down the stretch.

I do not think that BC faltered much, except for perhaps allowing the first Q goal. Could not have made it any closer in the final minutes. I was rooting for a new team to win it all, which is still a possibility.

Who'd they lose to in the hockey east tourny? Trophy time did not materialize for them this go round.

Which was offside. Not the appropriate time to bring this up, I guess, but I never really liked the "new" offside rule. Too much discretion...this was a "delayed" offside. Two Quinnipiac players were still in the zone when the puck was dumped back in. I had always thought that if the puck is not moved out immediately, it should be blown. Well, this wasn't (apparently because BC handled it), but it led directly to the goal. But the reality is, those players were in the zone illegally. Just saying...

Timely goal by TK, first in 55 games.

Usually I call him Scorey but not as of late! Sweet goal..finally! And oh yea, where were those Bruins Tuesday when I was there at the TD... Worth it to see Brett P play but would've liked to have seen a W..

One connection between the B's - Wings game tonight and UNH is the long-standing debate on this thread on SOG and their relationship with the flow and outcome of games. Heh, heh.

No way man! Every time a 'new' team wins and it is not UNH, I die a little inside! Bummed for Denver, especially after coming back to tie the game in the third. Tough night for their top line to finally get shut down...

When UND came out to Magness - even though Denver swept - I thought to myself all weekend, 'that is what a national championship team looks like.'

They've got enough depth behind the CBS line and their defensive group, 1-6, is on a different level. They win title number whatever and UNH still has hope for being 'next'...

NO worries NODAK wins this one. Q taking over as the best program not to win an NC from UNH!

Why? After failing to win a NC in how many years? UNH has been playing hockey since, I believe, 1925. That's 91 years. Hardly a fair comparison...in fact, it's laughable.

Two great semi-final games. I really hope that the NC game is as good and close. As much as I am disappointed that UNH does not have a title, I am still in favor of seeing the hardware spread around, especially to eastern teams. I was rooting for DU last night, as I did in the Garden at the FF in 2004 when Adam Berhoel held off the marauding Black Bears for a 1-0 win in the most amazing final 90 seconds of hockey that I have ever seen.

Okay, so you want UNH to maintain that dubious distinction? Go for it! Whatever floats your boat.

Ha, ha, ha, ha; I am laughing. We have outdone the Red Sox; next in sight: the Cubbies.
