Sure does feel like he's been there forever, eh? :D

Well he's had pinching in his labrums since he was 15. Not sure he's even 20 yet so maybe 4 years?

BC thread is up.... I'll leave the UMass thread open for the taking. Don't want to be greedy.

Is UMass even still in the league? That wasn't Lowell against whom we gacked up a 5 goal lead??

Holy crap, doc, it's even worse than I thought ...

Win, lose or draw, UNH/BC is always a fast paced, fun game to watch.

Yeah, but that was back when UNH had d-men who could actually skate. I foresee bad things this weekend.

Good point. We may lose big, but it will still be a fun game to watch. Tractor pull opposite.

I totally agree! I plan on going Sat with proper expectations, with the hope that we play a complete game. Go 'Cats!!!!

Manchester Monarchs goalie, on the other hand..... Ugggh.

I've obviously been out of the country too long. I had no idea they swapped the AHL for the ECHL. Makes a ton more sense though!
This is the first season. I believe that the push is for AHL teams to be closer to their NHL affiliates for last minute call ups.

Yup. And as a result, goon hockey comes to ManchVegas ... and as usual, BS35+3 lets an opportunity slip.

Listening to the WMUR news tonight, I heard "NH goalie arrested" and thought it was (Labor) Groundhog Day.

Speaking of which ... UNH alum Brian Foster is sharing time in goal at Wheeling. Guess who's #3 DNP goalie?

... and that wraps up tonight's fun-filled edition of "Wildcats in the Coast"!! :) :( :o

In your thread rounds tonight, Chuck, you missed the RPI-Bentley game thread, where you would have learned that RPI may practice their trap against Bentley this Friday night at the JAR to use against UNH on our visit to Troy on Tuesday night.

I have to assume you've already got the Bentley-UNH game thread finalized through multiple drafts, just awaiting posting after the final buzzers this weekend, subject to 1-2 final post-weekend edits? :D ;)

No, I think that it is incumbent on a fan from the higher PWR-ranked team to initiate game threads, although I realize that my reluctance was not shared by fellow UNH fans who began current game threads. I would contribute to such a thread, of course. :-)

Re: UNH Wildcats 2015-2016 (Part One) - Return of the "Champions of December"??

Watching the postgame the team certainly seemed disappointed in yet another tie.. Matias C and TyK spoke and according to them the captains gave them an earful about how a tie is unacceptable. I see capt. material in Cleland but oops that's next season. Speaking of captains CMacD had a bid at the end of the OT which almost won it. Would've like to have seen that. Glad to have salvaged the tie because thought DT had a decent game; he had one pad save that well, saved our butts in addition to a few others. Some of you might think this is a weird comment to make but at times, he was squared up to the play and made some save which reminded me briefly...of a former GK. This of course, is just a "I need more coffee" thought but he did have some good stuff. Onto BC tonight! Always a pleasure to have two veteran coaches in the house in Coach U and Jerry Y. Hope Jerry likes the new 'tron.

ps always nice to run into e.cat...!

pss...while a tie is unacceptable last night...how would it feel tonight? :p

The more I see, the more I like the video. I recall it is higher quality than NU's, was told by someone who visited Agannis recently it is better than BU's. The intro keeps getting refined for the better. Replay is as good as can be expected. The necessary, I suppose, down side is the woman in the stands awarding sponsored prizes. We are a Delta Dental financial commitment away from a kiss cam. The bongo cam is fairly amusing. How about a cow bell cam?

You see ... this is where having captains with mediocre playing resumes can really hurt a team. Let's just say this all happened, just as reported by Kelleher and Cleland. Do you not think at some point, the players who are getting "an earful" from senior leadership aren't at least thinking "What the heck have you done to set you apart? You could have won it late, and didn't. Plus you didn't even dress in the playoffs last season when I dressed. ***." It just sets up an unnatural, and ultimately constructed dynamic in the locker room.

Same thing with writing in the senior checking line as the "first line" for the first month-plus.

I hate having been the one who sounded the alarm on this, and it kills me to see it actually playing out now, but this is not good, and as a result my expectations for this season have plummeted. :(
