Listened on the radio in the North Country tonight; congrats to our young Cats!

Yeah 'Cats! Solid team effort! Great to see the continued efforts of the Frosh and Echo the Matt W sentiments...we attended a Friends event and met him and a few of the others they felt very good about the game! Nice that Ryan Randall had his first collegiate point tonight too 😄!

Solid win. Can't say enough about these Freshmen. Willows worked his tail off as well and it paid off.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

Awesome assist Foegele!

Yeah that was sweet. Downing had a nice assist also.

Glad I picked the Saturday night game to go to. Nice win for the Wild or go home Cats!

I think Chuck is 2 for 2 for the weekend on the SOG front. I really didn't see too many "meaningless" SOG's though. Sorry, couldn't resist!

Kiss my SOG e.cat. :) MSU had 22 of 'em. :D All in good fun, and it's always good when the good guys win.

Credit to the 'Cats for shaking off falling behind in the second period, and then finishing the weekend strong. Good distribution with the scoring, improved defensive performance, and an end to the 3 game losing streak all help things, looking ahead to another weekend with realistically winnable games. It's a process, and tonight is one of those occasions when you can maybe begin see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's still likely going to be a bumpy ride, but 3-5-0 is probably a game better than I saw them being at this stage of the year ... it is these little victories that should give us all hope and something to look forward to later this season, and beyond.

Be patient and keep the faith.

IDK. Maller might have a few nightmares on that MacEachern goal. MacEachern is a gamer and made UNH pay a couple of times.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

Anybody else want to try Yzerman with Downing and Willows?

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

The box score reading is much more pleasant than 24 hours ago, 4 unanswered goals to close out the game. Thanks for the comments. Bummed I missed this one.

You missed a good one but there will be more good ones.

Yeah that was a tough one, Clark came up BIG (no pun intended!) on several occasions on many quality stops. Much better forechecking from our forwards (particularly Downing) in the corners was nice to see. That being said...we all know that clearing pucks out of the D zone has been a challenge. They know it and it will come. This is a fun team to watch and it was great to hear all 10 Freshmen talk about why they chose UNH. Hope they stay around for a while! Bring on those Huskies!

NU no longer pointless; need to keep them winless, and better yet, with only the one point that fiercely earned this weekend.

Re: UNH Wildcats 2014/2015 - Wait 'Til Next Year!!!

What's not to like about Yzerman or Eiserman?;)

UNH is halfway towards my 'Hockey Nirvana' ... hopefully in the next year or two, they can recruit/transfer a kid named B. Orr/Ohr/Oher and then we'll have my two hockey heroes on the ice for the 'Cats at the same time!!
:) :D :)

Comfortable having a first line of Foegele-Kelleher-Poturalski the next three years.

Oh believe me I don't see them as pointless...it's a big HE match up for both teams...NU is hungry for a win and they have a talented bunch of forwards with Smatzula (sp) and Roy. And we are looking for those HE points as well! Let's just remember to keep stuff off the ice (' cept for the fish, mind you) 😉

Ya there were a bunch of failures to clear the zone!! Agree they'll improve on that as we move forward. BTW I looked for you in !01 to say "Hey" but couldn't find you. The eyes are the first thing to go I guess;)
