Awesome assist Foegele!
I think Chuck is 2 for 2 for the weekend on the SOG front. I really didn't see too many "meaningless" SOG's though. Sorry, couldn't resist!
Kiss my SOG e.cat.MSU had 22 of 'em.
All in good fun, and it's always good when the good guys win.
Credit to the 'Cats for shaking off falling behind in the second period, and then finishing the weekend strong. Good distribution with the scoring, improved defensive performance, and an end to the 3 game losing streak all help things, looking ahead to another weekend with realistically winnable games. It's a process, and tonight is one of those occasions when you can maybe begin see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's still likely going to be a bumpy ride, but 3-5-0 is probably a game better than I saw them being at this stage of the year ... it is these little victories that should give us all hope and something to look forward to later this season, and beyond.
Be patient and keep the faith.
Anybody else want to try Yzerman with Downing and Willows?
IDK. Maller might have a few nightmares on that MacEachern goal. MacEachern is a gamer and made UNH pay a couple of times.
Sophomore MacEachern is a draft pick of St Louis and idolizes Steve Yzerman.

What's not to like about Yzerman or Eiserman?![]()
NU no longer pointless; need to keep them winless, and better yet, with only the one point that fiercely earned this weekend.
UNH is halfway towards my 'Hockey Nirvana' ... hopefully in the next year or two, they can recruit/transfer a kid named B. Orr/Ohr/Oher and then we'll have my two hockey heroes on the ice for the 'Cats at the same time!!

Yeah that was a tough one, Clark came up BIG (no pun intended!) on several occasions on many quality stops. Much better forechecking from our forwards (particularly Downing) in the corners was nice to see. That being said...we all know that clearing pucks out of the D zone has been a challenge. They know it and it will come. This is a fun team to watch and it was great to hear all 10 Freshmen talk about why they chose UNH. Hope they stay around for a while! Bring on those Huskies!
