Unh vs lowell in manchester saturday march 30 , is four wins to much to ask for .

UNH playing well so far. But at some point they're going to have to take advantage. They had the better of the first period, but there's nothing on the scoreboard to show for it. Patience, focus and determination (and focus) must continue. It's all there, within their reach. But you gotta think UML will come out with a stronger second period, so it's not going to be getting any easier ...

You guys have come out so far... This is nerve wracking

Canisius gave up two quick goals, so now 3-3. Canisius knocked Bentley out of first AHA round, but still hoping that Bentley gets invite to Lake Whitt next season.

Yes, but only one of six WCHA team still standing, and poseurs St Cloud will go down tomorrow. A WCHA- less FF will be a delight!

Providence College, Now Lowell! Great Job Lowell!! The young coaches in Hockey East have figured out UNH's stiff behind their bench. Didn't take long!! LOL

Truly impressed with Lowells play, UNH is transitioning the crap out of Lowell and Lowell D is keeping them on the outside

So will the calls to "Fire Umile" be heard again tonight?

Congratulations to UML and good luck in Pittsburgh.

I'm disappointed I didn't get to see a fish.

Re: Unh vs lowell in manchester saturday march 30 , is four wins to much to ask for .

lets face it , with the lines shifted because of goumas and downing unh didnt have a chance , effects all three lines ... too bad ..

Congrats UMass-Lowell. Nice to see some new blood in the Frozen Four. Time to be the 4th HEA team in the national champions club.

Nice to see some new blood in the Frozen Four.

I may be mistaken, but I believe that BC is the only remaining team that has won a national title...chances are we see a first timer in two weeks.

Or a team win 3 out of the last 6. Ugh.

This Terrier fan will be rooting for Lowell the whole way. Good luck guys!

Good luck to BC and York. I'm loving the pirate look.

Cheers to a BC/UML final! Make it happen.

That's not fair. I mean, who has been able to score against Lowell? They're scary, and with your two best forwards out you knew it was going to be an uphill battle. It's just a shame that they are so boring to watch. The only question is "are they going to score themselves?" It's pretty clear by now the other team won't (or will only get one). We (BU) scored six against BC and didn't even come close to scoring the next night against Lowell.

If you want to talk about "figuring things out," how come other coaches haven't been able to figure out how to prevent goals? Yes, Hellebucyk is great, but really, did UNH even have two good chances all night? It's really the defense just wiping out everyone in their way, excellent gap control and keeping everything to the outside. It's not like they're the only team with big d-men, so obviously Bazin must be doing something which apparently nobody else is.

No time for excuses. Goumas and Downing played pretty much all of the January-March games, and while they are two of UNH's most dangerous, creative players, they were not exactly the cure to what ailed UNH down the stretch even when they were healthy. NO guarantee the outcome would have been any different had they played.

Congrats to UMass-Lowell for the biggest win in program history. Good luck in Pittsburgh. :)

You are a moron; you should thank DU for taking out our top two centers and scorers last night. Kudos to Umile and the Cats for hanging in there tonight. Despite you being a moron, I will still root for UML in the FF.

I'd rather thank a stifling defense that has allowed ONE goal in the last 230 minutes of playoff hockey.
