Maybe this is more clearLos informes no confirmados son que la hija de MS7 le envi? un mensaje de texto para un cambio de portero
Better, thanks. Swahili would be perfect if you could.

The fact that coaches are texting during games annoys me. Similarly, I can never understand how my bosses don't lose their minds when younger coworkers spend staff meetings scrolling their phones. I am a boomer dinosaur, I get it, but it shows a lack of attention and focus (((if))) the coaches are on their phones during games which translates to things like two Too Many Players penalties.

I am calling to move my seats if the student section is going to be allowed to overflow into those seats in upper 119; before game time I checked on how filled the section was and all of the seats except for a few were taken. I was surprised at game time when most all were filled with students; whom I doubt paid the 24.00 for those seats. Then I heard that the student section was 'filled' and that they 'had to sit somewhere' but why were these seats x'ed out if that wasn't the plan in the first place? It's not that I mind so much sitting with students; its that I mind they were up and down all night and their 'discussions' were less than savory (and I'm not a prude but ...) Wah!

I was glad to see the 'Whitt so packed; doubt it will be for the Army game but the players had a boisterous crowd to cheer them on. I expect Tyler Muszelik to start against MC but I have no truck with the game Fezzie had; save for the first goal perhaps. (and the unfortunate coaching error in the empty net situation?!?! which wasn't his fault). BC is a tough team to play regardless of who's coaching them; not surprised at the results.

As for HE being 'weak' tell that to Denver and Ohio State...

Byatch#2: OK, so our row, for many seasons, were full of STH's, and we generally had a great time at the games. Most of them have either moved seats or given them up entirely, so now almost our entire row is "up for grabs" on any given home game. Tonight's disaster: Four or five young families and their sons, aged I'm guessing between 6 and 8, hyped up on Dippin' Dots, popcorn, pretzels, or whatever was doled out to them from Mommy and Daddy, so that said Mommies and Daddies could sit together and enjoy their copious amounts of beer. Meanwhile, all the li'l Juniors are running up and down the stairs, climbing all over the chairs, spilling crap, endlessly walking in front of me while I'm trying to enjoy the game. One of them just stood there directly in front with the play going on in BC's defensive zone, and I literally had to yell at the kid to PLEASE MOVE! There were some in my row and the row behind me....at one point in they all tried to congregate in my row and attempt to sit on the empty (paid for) seat next to me with my wife's sweatshirt, and I had to play the "grumpy old man" and say, "No, you can't sit there." At that point, I was so close to going up and speaking to one of the yellow-jacketed yahoos to come down and straighten things out, but I couldn't tell which kid belonged to which parents. Essentially, my game night experience, which I had hoped to be semi-spiritual in nature, was ruined. And yes, the UNH Athletics office is gonna hear from me on Monday.

Byatch #3: So...why is UNH now pretty much "mandating" that every spectator better have a smartphone with them??? I mean, OK I get the electronic ticketing, not a fan at all, but, ooookay, UNH I'll play along. But making the 50-50 all electronic too?? ***?? I felt bad for the UNH cheerleaders having to walk around with these big pieces of cardboard with QR codes on them. That's right folks...CASHLESS transactions! I tried twice to scan the stupid thing twice and couldn't pull up the website where you're supposed to make the 50-50 transaction. "Sorry ladies, I know it's not your fault, but the higher-ups seem to think that this "COOL" thing that they're doing, 'wow, look at us? lookee how high-tech we are here at UNH!' But if I can't just give you cash and get a ticket in return, I'm not playing. Sorry!"

#2 - A similar thing happened a few years ago to my friends who had seats that they selected for specific reasons. I was sitting with them for a period. Kids were loud, climbing all over the place, adults sipping beer nearby. It was Souza's kids and their friends. To their credit the adults reacted properly when I loudly wondered "Are these kids alone? How did they get here? They don't look old enough to have driver's licenses."

#3 - Ridiculous. What to do if the system goes down? I bring a paper back up to an event or flight ever since a friend was A-List on Southwest, the electronic boarding system crashed, they boarded passengers with paper boarding passes first, the electronics last and she ended up with a middle seat. Also, good luck with that 50-50 revenue.

I look forward to hearing the explanation of all of this in the post game presser....which, is not available at this time and not sure it will be?? Hear you about the texting, etc. try being a classroom teacher which I am not anymore thankfully; cell phone use big pain for teachers (who cared about it that is). I've yet to hear this (MS7 texting his daughter) who heard this and how wide spread is this? Regardless it was a big mistake hope it doesn't happen again. And figure out your line changes...I need some coffee.

Without knowing who or what he was texting about. Souza was very much caught texting on the bench by the in arena camera on the big screen in the second period.

I honestly couldn't care less if he was texting but I thought that was a rules violation? Or did they rescind those electronic device rules?

Ah love a good story coming out of the whitt: Coach Souza involved in TEXT GATE scandal...dun dun dunnnn.... DU was in attendance maybe that's who he was texting...and perhaps he is texting game notes to himselfdunning.... At any rate don't care just deal with the line change and empty net timing!

Unprofessional, amateur hour stuff ... add in two "too many men" and a botched ENG scenario?!?

Interesting. I hadn’t thought of that. Nothing re: cell, mobile, electronic in the index of the 2022-23 and 2023-24 NCAA Ice Hockey Rules & Interpretations document.

Nice bet Chuck.

Positives:
1. My seats seemed fine and it actually looked no different
2. First period was electric and the team played with intensity
3. Seeing HR and adopting her for dinner if she’s solo again

Negatives
1. Not playing the freshman goalie
2. Goal allowed from the corner
3. Basic cable upstairs that you couldn’t get a Bruins game, baseball playoffs, or the game on the ice on a TV

Unconfirmed reports are that MS7’s daughter texted him for a goalie change. Round about story but it should never get to that. Growing pains for the freshman would be preferred.

hopefully Tuesday they put it together on the back yard rink. Normally I’d go but can’t this year

So that's you huh! Well nice to 'meet you' formally. Yes, I normally go to Libby's been along time it feels like! I don't think I've been there 'since covid'. Usually when the hubs goes to games we usually can't get there in time unless it's a Saturday. Like this week; we'll leave where we live around 5:30 ish so that puts us out of the 'libby's loop'. But for sure in future games! Always nice to see you! Will look for you there next time.

On another note, curious too to hear how those of you who saw the game actually thought about said game. Just saw the basic stats; good thing we had a decent PK going (or BC's PP needs major work) that we kept them off the board for our 5 penalties (too many 'Cats). Speaks to the D as well as the goal tending. Heard a fan say walking out to their friends who said "what a great game despite the loss" his reply 'they need to find the offense'. I think that will come as they gel abit more. Thinking Tuesday will be a great test. Do not want to go 0-2 in HE...It's way too early to know where we are at but I want to keep seeing that team bring the energy you mention for a full 60; hopefully that will come...(I will be at MC norbert...you going?)
