UNH- How Far West Do We Go?

Not surprised if Bentley came out guns-a-blazin at home in the first period in this so called “trap game.”. But it’s not how you start. It;s how you finish and it looks like UNH dominated the third period at least according to the box score and we all know the scoresheet tells all.
Yup, Cats also eked out SOG win late in third, which is what matters most, right? 🙂

The UNH team is precisely what it should be based upon its commitment to Division 1 hockey. Reasonably competitive but not a post season team. Lower half of Hockey East team that will bite a few good teams that look past them and get blown out 3-4 times per season. Decent job by Souza and Company so far.

I actually agree with you. That UNH accepts this crap coaching staff means they are exactly where they belong.

Once UNH recommits to hockey, first thing will be to hire a competent head coach.

P.S. love the "my Souza" slip you had there... Don't worry we all already knew

If mediocrity is a thing...guess you described it. I doubt anyone expects anything less...? But most of us cheer regardless...knowing how hard the team fights. Not here for the coach and thats what keeps me coming back.

As a simpleton, I have always defaulted to the question: "But who have they played?". So not to look too far ahead, can't wait for the Dartmouth fantasy to slam into reality. They currently have #58 SoS on a grand total of 7 games played, like half of any team not IV. That's a joke... Meanwhile, WI is #2 NPI with #2 SoS on 14 games played.

And Bentley SoS at #63. Playing - and beating - UNH won't help that much! Ha!
Now that UNH has prevailed over SoS #63 Bentley, they will get their chance ruining Dartmouth’s likely unbeaten season on December 14th. If Dartmouth likely prevails with wins in their next seven games, they will meet their Waterloo in Hampden when mentee Reid Cashman faces his mentor Rand Pecknold.

For those with access or in market, former UNH football QB Max Brosmer who transferred and played his senior season for the University of Minnesota Golden Gophers started and is currently playing QB for the Minnesota Vikings. At the first half two minute warning he is 9/15, 53 yards, 0 TD, 1 INT, 1 sack for 9 yards.
