Jeff Jackson was HC 1990-1996, with 182-52-25 (0.751) over six seasons, not too shabby.
Scott Borek was HC 1996-2001, with 79-94-15 (0.451) over five seasons.
What is worse look at the last couple years 99-00 and 00-01.

What I heard from St. L fan in 0-0 tie in Hamden (shook hands) and 4-3 OT loss at Appleton (no shake hands), and from BU fan in 4-1 loss in Hamden (no shake hands); dunno about 5-4 loss in second ECAC tourney game against Cornell.
Oh my God
If there's something worse than having Holy Cross or Bentley as a Hockey East member its having Mike Schaefer as a Hockey East coach
Lake Superior State University
I think what made sense to me in his comment was the 'solid player' piece...and to me, that means, they are talented.
Not picking on HR ... but can you imagine 20 years ago, in the mists of time, back in the Wild Wild West early days of USCHO/Hockey L ... someone on the message boards NOT knowing what "LSSU" meant?
Maybe in 20 years' time, after Coach Bazin comes to UNHsome people will wonder, "What does UML mean?"
seriously, that's never gonna happen, but i had to stretch to find a current comparison
My oh my, how the (formerly) mighty have fallen ...
Looks like the long-ballyhooed Jumbotron is not doing its job. Can we fire the Jumbotron?
One more feeble excuse falls by the wayside, as we sit and wait for the tide to turn on the recruiting trails ...
"The campus is absolutely incredible," said Bahn. "The rink is really nice and they just put in a new jumbotron. The biggest thing is that hockey is the sport on campus. Everybody knows the hockey team and loves going to the games."

If Bahn turns into the second coming of (Keith) Yandle, I will retract my previous statement. But not until then.![]()
However, as you point out, UNH needs to get a top player, its first or second rounder sort of NFL pick. You can't count enough on hitting with the 4-7 rounders. Like the Patriots, they were stripped of two first round picks (Farabee and Ryczyk) and lost wasted a year of transition. Can they get a top pick? Let's wait and see.

Keith Yandle? Would not Brian Yandle be an improvement on the blueline? Gotta get through Admissions.
They're still swinging for the fences in ball parks that have traditionally been fertile grounds. Whether the ball goes over the wall, only time will tell.

Okay. I guess the link doesn't work but Tony Granato named HC at his Alma Mater Wisconsin!
They have any alums who scored more points? Granato racked up 220 in FOUR (Chuck!) seasons, 1983-1987.
