Let us never forget ... we are UNH, and we are the perennial CHAMPIONS OF NOVEMBER.
Those were the days.

I’m not sure what is worse the play or broadcast. UNH was 4-1-1 and every player apparently has 10 goals
Those kind of players never even look at UNH because we don't have flashy instagram and tiktok worthy facilities... Oh wait...
Agree on both. But interesting point made that playing poorly on Friday and expecting to make up for it the next night is not a winning formula. This is nothing new when it comes to UNH hockey. I never expect them to win on Friday.
Looking back on last season (there are a couple of exceptions) we lost most Friday night games. I just don't get it. We spend all week getting ready for the weekend ahead and come out flat. Nope...not a winning recipe.
We did pick up the pace and hopefully have a better run of it tomorrow. Not counting on the Champions of Nov tho...
Pace is only good if it’s controlled. They were just bad in all aspects
Whaler is french for sieve.
I did not see the game last night. How many of Whale’s five goals were his fault? Thinking about “It’s all your fault!” chant.
EDIT: More questions.
Should DiMattio start in net tonight?
Lindner (+1) and Huard (-4) are listed as the second D pair in box score for last night, which makes those disparate +/- numbers seem interesting to me.
if UNH wins tonight, will all be forgiven, like last weekend?

Early in the season, so I’m trying not to overreact or overthink October losses. Still plenty of time to get it going but it’s hard to keep negative thoughts from creeping into my head. Early on you can say ‘lots of new guys, give them time to gel, young team they’ll learn and improve, they’re adapting to a new coaching system’ but, none of those apply here (excepting a couple of injuries). Problem is everything is a hot mess right now, but again it’s early. My take FWIW, as a team we have average (at best) D-I talent (with the fandom hoping they can punch above their weight) led by a mediocre (at best) head coach. Not a combination that instills confidence.
You are missing my main point...the recurring theme of not coming out of the gate prepared. On paper this team is better than this.

Lines are up. Interestin g changes. Still no Jenson. I believe he is a critical piece. Happy to have Lindner back the last couple of games. Nice calm approach. No offensive upside but always steady and predictable defensively.
Good to see LeClerc moved up to second line.
And, both MacPherson’s in line up. But still carrying two on fourth line who should be in the stands.
How does one tell who the starting goalie is?

This was a theme last year as well. MS7 does not have this team prepared at certain times. If you give up 3 weak goals in 5 minutes every game going to be a long season.
