I am hoping that my Sox STH friend does not see any more games at Fenway this year. :-)

Re: UNH 2018-19: Souza The Opportunity

This is the Wildcats' first overtime win since March 15, 2015 when they defeated Providence in the Hockey quarterfinals.

- The last Whittemore Center overtime win was a 2-1 victory on October 28, 2011 against Union.

I knew it had been awhile since we've beat UVM, story from the paper:

Going into Saturday night’s home-opener UNH had won just two of the 13 previous meetings and hadn’t beaten Vermont at the Whittemore Center since 2012.

Now...if we can just beat BC this season as I've yet to witness that!!! :D Let's go 'Cats!

Yup. Black is white, day is night, former HEA champions now cupcakes (BC and BU), former HEA cupcakes now playing like champions (Yukon and Flagship).

That win last night moved us up the PWR (and yes I know it’s ludicrous to even mentioning PWR at this point) but a win over the Flagship would certainly help..not to mention the HE points!! BU/BC cupcakes has a nice ring to it 😉 but sure wouldn’t count them out.

Saw them (Flagship) play Friday night v ‘Mack and they’ve got some guns and a decent goalie so no one should look past the Minutemen! Go Soxxxxx!!

Re: UNH 2018-19: Souza The Opportunity

2-0 UvM on a breakaway Robinson got the first but not the second play under review (Their Cippollone weird how both teams have players close to same name who have scored but whatever!!!!)

Cip skated right past Gildon, who was admiring the scenery.... Is it too late to convert him to a forward?

How do you spell relief? G-O-A-L. One monkey off their backs!
There was a lot of joy in Mudville last night.

Gildon looks bigger, faster, stronger than last year. He made several bad plays.

Even before UNH started scoring, Pierson was one of the most noticable players on the ice.

It was great seeing us play a strong, aggressive third period and OT. Scoring more goals than the opponent was nice, too.

"Angus Crookshank". Great name. I hope to say it a lot over the next four years.
