I'm still laughing when Holy Cross scored the overtime goal to beat the rodents at the Ralph. Boom.

One of the funniest moments I have ever had watching a hockey game was at Mariucci, and the scoreboard froze on the "n" during the Minnesota cheer, and the crowd kept saying "n" and then eventually the cheer became incoherent. It went something along the lines of "m-i-n-n-n-n-n-e-o-a...uhhhhhh...GOPHERS!" I laughed quite a bit at that one. :p:D:D

I've noticed this too. Every time YOU come to Grand Forks it does smell like poop. Weird. My bathroom stinks every time I take a dump - but I don't go blaming my bathroom.

Kudos on the troll list though. All in all -not bad, but there were some obvious omissions.

Gotta roll - the Artic Cat dealer just called and he says my new jacket is in. I think I will celebrate at the Olive Garden after I pick it up.

Had it not happened in the Ralph I would say no but since it did it still ranks as the biggest upset that has happened in there since it opened.The icing on the cake was the next game when the SIOUX beat Michigan and of course went on to beat that same Holy Cross team the next day.

Yep. Been lurking for a while - but couldn't resist joining the fun. Constant insults and painful reminders of past indiscretions and shameful performances - it just feels like... home.

You're right! I forgot to laugh at the single tree! I could make fun of the fact that half the state lives in a flood plain, but that's too mean. And omitted all the legal issues UND players have had in the last 10 years. Are you a St. Cloud fan? Because snow mobile jackets are their shtick!

Lastly my UND fan friends confirmed how bad Grand Forks smells year round! So it's not just me :)

OH - I agree it does smell bad year round - but only smells like poop when UMD and their fans get here. (Or whenever the wind is from the east). I am guessing this what your UND friends meant. ;)

I have noticed the stench is a bit more rancid when the puppies are in town. I will stay away this weekend. Of course I have no choice. I have my own team to coach.

Interesting how Biddco, a member of your actual opposing fan base this week, tries to fan the flames here but Wes gets most of the focus with just a mild comment or two by agreeing with one of his points.
