This thread won't be official trash until ExRider19 shows up talking about goofer jersey pops and the latest frosh he date raped at a Red River High School dance, forcing the thread to pause and shake it's collective head at his stupidity and creepiness.

Mankato is a less than worthy opponent but Harvard is 2-10-2 and the purple land bovines are 11-11-2 (via uscho.com stats). Saying UND "barely" beat MSU is a little funny since UM beat Harvard by a score differential of 5 and UND v MSU differential was 4.

Records in my opinion are generally worthless when it comes to this series, both teams show up(minus the first game of the series in GF this season) and provide a great weekend of entertainment including cracked fan skulls, booze induced vomiting, and 20/20 hindsight.

A couple points:

1. Goal differential in a series usually doesn't mean a whole lot (too many factors: injuries, time of year [younger teams either mature quickly later in the year, or falter quickly due to youth], etc etc etc).

2. MN hasn't shown up in the past 4 games against the Sioux, IMO. Not even close.

How about getting together at Senser's (a Sioux bar) on Saturday instead? I'd be up for it, and I bet I could get a few fans from both teams, along with a couple fans of neither team, too. :)

I would be down with that all the way, but I have 3 non hockey fans driving 3 hours to watch a game in a bar that we can do just off the ice house on Lake Lida.

Gotcha. Well, good luck then. Even as poor as MN has been playing, seats won't be that cheap, I reckon.

I am told about 75 dollars which I would pay in a second. The plan for Sat. is up in the air. It would be a blast to see all of you trolls at Sensors though.:D
