The Ambo's BLT pizza is decent, but their drinks are grossly overpriced. As of this past September, it's like $8 for a fishbowl in there now, and they're half ice. A Crown/rocks was $6.25. Crazy.

Someone is a Grumpy Gus. Putting people on ignore simply because they speak the truth about the terribleness of Houghton, Tech and pasties is rather petty.

Oh, when you cross into Michigan, stop by the Mexican Restaurant that now advertises "Authentic Chinese Food" (or it's the reverse of that, can't remember). Either way, hilarious.

It's the reverse. It says "Now serving authentic Mexican Food".

excuse me. ahem. the grown up is in the room.

Suomi for breakfast. the "sweet bread" Brent refers to is Nisu bread. sweetbreads are an abdominal organ to Yoopers. Toni's in Laurium for the pasties. sliced not diced potatoes and they are so good. Gay Bar is fun. pretty much the rest of K County is closed due to the huskyfans being gone. the Ambo is a must. try some squeaky cheese with morning coffee. stop in at Randy's in Calumet for a Moscow Mule and the Michigan House for a beer.

dont forget! Whioux fans ... last chance for the WCHA's best nachoes!

hope it snows a couple of feet and the team bus gets stuck.

Two things

1. I thought they were the Galaxies Best Nachos.
2. The word NOT hasn't been used in that manner since 1995. That was nearly 20 years ago. Try getting into this millennium, grandma.

If it snows, the USAF will just bring them in by chopper. Think the Ride of the Valkyries scene in Apocalypse Now. It will be just like that.

No that won't happen because if they tied to it would either end up with ice on the rotors or a crash in a white out a la desert 1. Silly farmer!
