Was that Brett Hull? For some reason I'm blanking on him being with Cal-GARY.

That's so unbelievably awesome.

I used to have the same helmet as Lanny when I was in high school. Wish I still had it!

Indeed it was Brett Hull. Apparently the guys that couldn't even pretend to have musical ability had to stand in back and clap.

I am not sure if this is worse than BC's Beanpot Trot. Tough call.

edit: The best part, IMO, is when Joel Otto points at the camera. or maybe Mike Vernon after that, right before he ROCKS OUT. It's a toss-up really.

Question for badger regulars: I usually try to get seats fairly high up but not in the third bowl. Tonight I'm in 106 row C. Is that above the glass?

It's not, especially for newbies. We all started out red at some point.

You're lucky it wasn't Gopher fans. You'd be bruised purple as many of them are a bitter lot who by and large cannot take a joke, other than their sports teams of course.

There are some fun ones like Brent, but they're few and far between.

Well my post count is low, but I'm not a n00b here. I had some time to kill and I won't get to the KC this year seeing as we are in MO now. I was just glad to see Big RED at the Icebreaker.

Speaking of Gooferfan, I remember going to a game at the old Mariucci just before it was killed. A friend and I sat near some other "Badger fans" and they asked how the trip was. We told them that we go to school here (MN). They replied that they grew up in MN, but went to Madison now and that they represent their school. I told them it was about time they realized their mistake. The Goofs around us did not like that comment. Ah well...
