UND 2017-2018 Season Thread

Re: UND 2017-2018 Season Thread

Your concern is heartwarming.

:p:D:D

Well, Union is next. The Dutchmen got off to a rotten start, losing their first five games of the season, but have rebounded nicely going 7-1 in their last 8 games. 2 wins will likely do wonders for UND's PWR at the end of the season.

Great coverage you guys have... the stream is impressive, your announcers top notch.
As for your team, we git lucky that you had a slow start. You score first and it's a different game. You have a lot of impressive talent out there, very good puck control. If it weren't for some outstanding defense and goaltending, we would have been in deep trouble. Your team is a pleasure to watch, I wish you the best for the rest of the season (after tonight of course).

I'm not feeling it Goon. What should be our top two scorers (14 and 19) have been all but invisible all season. We have no one that can put the puck in the net. Our highly touted freshman (29) has shown the occasional flash of good play but looks lost most of the time. Thome has been OK with Cam hurt but has a habit of getting out of position and has zero ability to play the puck. PP has been so-so.

On the positive side, they have shown that they can skate with anyone, and the D is solid. This team is built to do well - next year.

Per coach Berry, Cam will be back in net this weekend.

Impressive weekend from North Dakota. Western Michigan is a strong team, and they could very well be a top-half NCHC team at the end of the season. Nice to see the boys step it up in the third period tonight and get the six points. If they play like that next weekend, I like our chances for a split (or better).

Agree. The third period was their best third period this season. It was nice to see them score with 22 seconds left in the second and follow it up with the fastest goal in 65 years of Sioux hockey to start the third. And no let down after that. If they play like they did tonight next weekend I like the chances of a sweep!

That goal in the first 7 seconds of the third was the dagger. Now it’s off to St Cloud. Huge series before the break.

Now that was one hell of a college hockey game. UND gets the extra point as they win the shootout.
