Re: UML Recruiting, Building for the future

Nice article. I've been told by someone in the know that this kid will be well liked.
He sounds like he's a pretty good goaltender too. It will be interesting to see if he can earn some playing time this season.

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for the future

I just noticed the Heisenberg site is including Colton Saucerman in the 2012 recruit page (Listing by College). They also show his team as Lincoln (USHL). I wonder if this is accurate and he'll be coming in 2012 instead of this year.

Colton Saucerman attended the Lincoln camp and played in an All Star game.

And judging by Saucerman's appearance in a USHL camp, it appears he won't be going to UMass-Lowell this fall.

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for the future

I hope we get the third of this trio down the road.
Speaking of the third, Shane Eiserman was named to the 22-man roster for the U.S. Under-17 Select Team which will compete in next month’s Under-17 Five Nations Tournament in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

I really hope Lowell is and stays involved with him.

UMaine's Assistant Bob Corkum will be coaching that squad...

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for the future

Looks lime some pretty decent players played in the AtJHL (don't knoww fi they had a stop in between): Nick Bonino, James Marcou, etc

USHR ranked him 15th among the forwards at the recent Select 16 Player Development Camp in Rochester.
15. Shane Eiserman (#10 Royal Blue) 6-1/180 --- 2-2-4 -- 10/10/95 from St. John’s Prep. Big, strong, power forward type. A lot of upside. Going to Cushing.

Hopefully with his two brothers, and his new teammate at Cushing ... we'll have a good shot to get this guy to want to come to Lowell.

The Heisenberg site is showing a new recruit for 2012.

Ryan McGrath-C, Cedar Rapids (USHL), 5'7 155  (7-13-91)

Article on McGrath here.. http://www.ushl.com/news/story.cfm?id=4159

Apparently played for Mark Carlson, former Lowell player from around the time I started going to games and also served as an assistant coach for a year. Thanks for sending him our way, Mark!
