Recruit Seth Barton has made the Team Canada West roster for the World Junior A Challenge. The tournament begins on Dec. 10.

Here's the updated stats for the current recruits. The year is a projection on when the recruit will arrival in Lowell. Eriks Zohovs was said to be arriving for the second semester. He's currently on the IR with Youngstown. I'm not sure what the injury is or if his plans have changed.

The Lowell Sun (Barry Scanlon) had an update on the Lowell recruits in today's paper. Barry listed Kerner and Sterrett as arriving in 2020 and Ben Meehan in 2021. No mention of Zohovs.

The World Jr A Challenge has begun. Seth Barton and the Canada West squad lost to the Czech Republic 5-2 yesterday. Seth was scoreless in the game. Recruit Chase Blackmun and the USA team will play the Czech Republic today at 2:30 pm (EST). They offer a free video link for the games below.

Updated the stats below through 1/8 (removed Zohovs though).

Also, UMass gets their first '02 commit, Chris Stevens, from Whitby, ON.

Newest long-term commit Seth Barton is the only Lowell player listed on the newest CSB ratings, with a C rating.

The mid term rankings came out today and he's currently ranked #81

3.5️ prospect is a good-sized, mobile defenseman with swift hands, vision and puck carrying ability. He reads the play well, has a strong defensive stick and can join the rush and add offense. Earned a B at @bchllive Showcase this fall.

Considering that Waring has only played one game, I'd wonder if he'll be back?
