UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Correct northeastern again
Northeastern picks up commitment #30, Connor Murphy (Carleton Place). He's the only goalie commit they have, which is strange considering how many recruits they have lined up.

It would be nice to hear some recruiting news from the Hawks.

Re: UML Recruiting, Building for 2018 and on

Lowell has the fewest commitments in Hockey East past the 2019 season (3).
You pay a lot more attention to recruiting than I do but it seems to me like we're always near/at the bottom of the list, especially more than season out. Wish we could improve that.

That's three recruits with Sioux Falls. Chambers, Lee and Berglund.

A new recruit, '99 goaltender Logan Neaton. Logan currently leads the BCHL in GAA and is second in SV%.

Tweet from Barry Scanlon says Neaton will be in next fall, which would leave Wall (Sr), Green (So) and Neaton as the three netminders for 2019/2020.

The 2018 World Junior A Challenge begins today. Matt Brown and the USA team plays the Canada West team at 9:00 pm EST. I believe the video feed is free in the link below.

The USA lost to Canada West 2-1 in a shootout. The US out shot the Canadiens 42-26 for the game and went 0-5 on the PP. The team plays again Tuesday night against the Czech Republic. Matt Brown did not score.

That's assuming that Wall is back next season.
