UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

Good for PC. I will be cheering them for them on Saturday night.

How bad is the ESPN coverage? Apart from all the talk about Eichel, during a very good game, they cut to some crappy Max Kellerman (sp) show the instant the PC/UNO game finished. ESPN blows.

They were butchering Gillies name and Noel Arrciari is a redshirt junior not a senior

Unfortunately there is nothing we can do about the crap coverage from ESPN. This will happen as long the NCAA bundles the basketball/football coverage into the broadcast agreement with ESPN.

PC to the Championship game... 4-1 with 30 seconds left.

very interesting that Gillies hasn't brought home the bacon until now... I suppose its the right time to do it. He's a senior, yes?

edit: to that end, for those seeing the news, I'm fine and at home.

This announcer needs a valium. Every time they go past the blue line he has hysterics. He has also decided BU has won already because Eichel is in the building.

Working so only half paying attention. Thought Eichel scored the last goal because they screamed his name then GOAL!!!!!. It wasn't even him.

Mr les thought UND was going to make it past BU. Not looking like it.

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

BU sure did get couple of lucky goals.
Just gave one away and now Eichel just caused a too many men penalty (I think that is what they said). Trying to make it interesting.

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

Too bad. Now we'll have to be subjected to another game of ESPN announcers having an orgasm every time Eichel hits the ice (or doesn't as you never quite know if he's on the ice or they're doing play by play of what he's currently doing on the bench).

Re: UML Offseason 2015: It's not rebuilding anymore

Love the fact that it's an all Hockey East matchup for the national championship. Reminded me back in late November (when UML was going to play against Harvard) someone posted that the ECAC record vs HE at that time was 12-5-2; totally dominating HE at that time. I pondered (publicly on this site) if this was going to be a "down year" for Hockey East. Got to love the delicious irony going into tomorrow night's game.

Anyway - I just looked it up out of curiosity - not that it has anything to do with the championship game - but since that post in late November, Hockey East has gone 20-7-3 against the ECAC.

Almost my exact quote to Mr les. He is a good player but for Pete's sake! They show clips of him standing there by the boards and expound on his brilliant move by being ready? Atleast show when he looks like he is brilliant, not get crazy because he stands by the boards, ready.

To be fair, the kid is pretty brilliant a lot of the time. Even the ENG, he barely even looked up, knew exactly where he was and nailed it. Ice positioning, awareness, speed ... kid is a phenom.

Glad to see an all Hockey East Final. PC's been recruiting really well, and they're not afraid to get the early commits. If they win this thing, they could get even more scary recruiting wise.
