Re: UML its almost summer (and its offseason) 2019

It looks like Devan McConnell will no longer be involved with the team. Best of luck to him.

It appears Devan McConnell is now working for the New Jersey Devils.

UMD tickets went on sale through Ticketmaster this morning. There's seats available in the corners for the Friday night game, but not a lot else. Saturday has a little more available, mainly in the 200 level, where there's plenty of seats at center ice.

BU’s been an underachieving team filled with draftees who were playing for themselves in hopes of leaving for the NHL, ASAP. Not so interesting

A better question would be, “Why does a well coached, rebuilding team like Lowell get just 7 appearances - the same number as UVM and Merrimack???

Because Lowell finished fourth, is predicted to finish lower this year by the media and coaches, and being well-coached and rebuilding (most teams are rebuilding) doesn't draw nearly as much interest as the teams from Norm's first few years with the program. It's the first year of the deal and we get one of the games at Duluth as part of the 7. Lowell has 5 away games on NESN which makes it easier for people to be able to watch the games. I'd rather have 5 away games on tv than be on tv 12 times and most of them being home games.
