UML its almost summer (and its offseason) 2019

How is it odd? They played a team of Russian junior All-Stars a few years ago. Is it really that much different than played the US Under-18 team?

Relax Scott

I dont remember how that russian team was treated under the schedule either. The US-18 is a national representative so that exemption is clear

Pretty sure they wouldn't be able to schedule the game if it wasn't allowed. As for the actual rules, it's very clear - Rule 17.13.5.3 (f)

Foreign Team in the United States. One ice hockey contest each year with a foreign opponent in the United States

Tier based pricing for single game tickets this year

Charging the same price for adult and youth ticket seems like a stretch or possibly a data entry error

Re: UML its almost summer (and its offseason) 2019

If you're planning on going out to Duluth, their tickets go on sale September 17th, and are $25 each (plus whatever fees Ticketmaster will extort). Supposedly they are raising their National Championship Banner on the Friday night, as it is their season opener.

Re: UML its almost summer (and its offseason) 2019

My season tickets arrived today.

As did mine

Looks like 4 bring a friend games this year

10/06 Vs UAH
11/29 VS RPI - Thought this was a 4:00 PM puck drop? Ticket says 7:15
01/18 Vs Merrimack
02/14 Vs Northeastern

Do you know if the UML athletic office will get any tickets for this weekend?

Re: UML its almost summer (and its offseason) 2019

What's the parking situation like at UML? Hoping to find someplace to park for free - planning to attend one of the UAH games and the thanksgiving tourney v. PSU and RPI.

For the RPI game
$2 for street parking in Downtown and walking over (5 min walk)
$5 for street parking in the general vicinity of the arena (there are signs up now telling you if you are subject to the event rate)
$10 for the public garage and if the game sells well be prepared to sit waiting to get out after
$15 to park at the surface lot right across the street but you get right out after

For the Penn State game
Street parking in Downtown Lowell will be free
All other rates I listed above will apply

No idea yet, which is why I posted the info about tickets through UMD.

Re: UML its almost summer (and its offseason) 2019

IIRC Lowell did not get an allotment of tickets for the Miami of OH games last year. Not sure of reasoning but you had to buy them through Miami if you wanted a seat.
