I mean everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I like that people discuss other UML sports as well. Winning championships in X-Country is just important to our athletic department as is winning Hockey East.

There's not a lot of places to actually talk about other Lowell sports. So I'll continue to use this forum with some small notes about other occasionally, if people don't like that, they're welcome to ignore any of my posts.

Very well said, Monty. I like the soccer posts during the offseason threads, good reminder hockey is right around the corner. Got me to show up to a few games as well. Not my cup of tea per se but I love watching Lowell beat Amherst. This year I'm I need to commit to going to a few more baseball games as long as the weather cooperates.

Why not keep it all in one place so we don't SPAM the board? If it really bothers you this much just skip past the conversation. No one is forcing you to read every post in this thread.

I knew I liked you for a reason. And to keep with the theme of non-hockey ( :D ) they are defending their indoor title this weekend.

Most of us alumni and want to see all sports and the other sports do well.

If you think this is new it isnt. We've discussed other sports in the lowell thread as long as I've been here. Baseball made a D2 world series. MBB was ranked #2 in D2 at one point around 2002. Field hockey has won D2 titles.

You dont make the call.

Edit: we have the best facilities in America East if not new england... though the other schools have us on multi-purpose use facilties... that being said I hope we put it together at some point.

Just a reminder to everyone. Tomorrow night kicks off Winter Fest in Lowell and I believe they will be shutting down Arcand Drive. Please plan accordingly
