Thunder and lightning too

HE is fixed! why did they even pretend they could play this today. If it was a throw away game that would be one thing but to be a league game- that is dumb

Love the little wake the puck has as they pass it. That and the spray like they are water ski-ing when they try to stop....:D silliest thing ever.

Basketball won again....

Funny now, 2-1 in AE... and may go 3-0 because UVM screwed up their scheduling and may have to forfeit... or may not... only thing agreed is that UVM is in a world of bouncyball hurt with the NCAA (too many non-D1 games)

I thought that was Maine, or is it Vermont too? LOL

Also, congratulations to the Women's Basketball team on there first D1 win. They defeated UMBC, 65-57 yesterday.

Just a completely disappointing performance yesterday. Really all I have to say about it.

I didn't make it to Boston yesterday. How was the turn out of Lowell fans? No attendance was given in the boxscore. The attendance for game 2 was listed as 25,580.

I would say Maine had the best turnout. The press box was so high up I admittedly didn't pay too much attention to anything but trying to see the game. They did show Lowell cheerleaders and students a few times. Actual butts in stands total two games probably like 10,000-12,000.

My biggest problem with Frozen Fenway is that you're basically taking everyone out the normal hockey elements for a league game. These 4 games should have been non-conference games. With each team only have 20 league games this year, points come at a premium and to have these teams have to play in unpredicatble conditions is a little bit ridiculous. I just wanted Lowell to come out unscathed in the injury department, and hopefully they were able to.

I wrote an article (as did others) on why outdoor hockey is getting too prevalent and absurd…the only thing I can say is at least both teams had to deal with the same poor conditions. As Joe Bertagna said during his media availability (something along lines of) "at least both games were sort of one sided so it doesn't feel like one bad bounce directly impacted outcome of game."
