UML 2013/2014 Season, II ... May I have another?

If we went by patronick's predictions, the team should be 33-1. I believe every weekend should've been a sweep so far except the BC weekend. I believe he predicted a split that weekend. Haha

Hopefully the tickets sales pick up this week. I believe the students will be on break too.

Not every week. Some weeks we were so bad we were never going to win another game again- until we won and then we were back in the win 'em all category. My mind would find such a wildly swinging opinion to be too exhausting :p

I cant believe that the referee in the Vermont - UMass-Amherst game was the uncle of a UVM player. I hope it doesn't happen this weekend.

Go back and check the thread. I hardly ever make predictions. There was a stretch (MC, Amherst, BU) where I said they need to take every available point, but I don't usually make predictions (I also called the Vermont weekend a split FWIW).

That has been remedied by my new "no talking or posting about Lowell for 24 hours after a loss."

I tend to be a bit of a Debbie Downer for that time period, if anyone noticed.

Jinx talk aside, at some point you have to put expectations on this team. They're 7-1-2 in HE at the Tsongas and haven't lost there, conference game or non conference game, since early November.

It's the playoffs and the time to be diplomatic is over- though to be fair I'm never diplomatic with the yahoos from Burlington. Lowell's at home, they're the better team and I expect them to sweep the series. Certainly not going to backpedal or apologize for holding that opinion.

This is a non-argument to me. The reffing had nothing to do with the outcome of that game. Besides, if a ref can't be impartial, then he shouldn't be working any game anywhere, no matter who is playing.

Agree, I believe that's the reason why Dan Schachte - HE Coordinator of Officials changed the policy on officials doing games involving schools they attended.
