This isn't to cause a stir, but UMass Lowell never should have lost to Sacred Heart, BC shouldn't have fallen to Holy Cross, etc…

UMass Lowell should beat Merrimack at Tsongas, but crazier things have happened. Playing at Merrimack is tough for anyone. If I was picking I'd pick a Lowell sweep, but you never know.

And now it is a real game. Have to have at least one called back. Hanfin makes me nuts . Most indecisive ref ever.

we won. it was mostly good to watch. A few lapses.

Our band was amazing tonight. When they reviewed the goal (for half an hour) they were really jamming. I could listen to them all night

What is it with all these reviews? Do you really need to review it for over 5 minutes? Something needs to be done about this disrupting the flow of the game. If you can not decide after 1 minute, please let the call on the ice stand. We have a bunch of referees in college hockey who can not make a decision. Please, stop the madness!

I had a good view of the goal that was called off and I knew it wasn't good right when it went in. I really don't understand why it took so long for them to figure it out...

The way the new rule is written it was a goal. He was stopping and it hit the blade of the skate. No directing or kicking motion. Review of video confirmed. That guy is still brutal. He would take a half an hour to decide if he wanted a beer.

Completely agree. Frustrating to take the heat out of the game at that point. And I'm sorry, you have to have incontrovertible proof to change the call on the ice, which was a goal. How many repeated angles did they look at for the 5 minutes to finally find the right angle? BS.

Good win, and a good response to blow the two goal lead. Merrimack is going to come out thumping bodies at home tonight. Lowell better be up and ready. Moved up to third place in HE with the win, 2 points behind NU (techincally 3) with 2 games in hand. Yes, Hockey East is BC's to lose, but if Lowell wins the next four (as they should), that two game set in two weeks will be incredible.

And finally, yes the band was awesome last night.

Any word on who will be in net tonight? Does Norm stay with Connor or does Doug get the start?

Had to go to Boston last night and didn't make it to the game until midway through the 2nd period. I walk in the door and Merrimack scores 2 goals in 2 minutes. I thought about walking right out of the building! Gambardella's goal changed everything.

Should be a good one tonight as Merrimack is a different team at home.

Just tuned in and oh no, Toot Cahoon is one of the anchors tonight. The Mumbles Menino of college hockey broadcasts. Amherst will take years to recover from his tenure there.

Any word on UML starting D1 Women's hockey? Merrimack saying they're starting in the 15-16 season.
 
Great win. Another shutout for Connor and we finally got a PP goal. Evan Campbell is starting to produce too. Nice to get a sweep especially with all of the injuries.

Bob mentioned Gambardella (I am sure I butchered this name) missing from the play? Anyone know what happened. I didn't hear anything but the radio was in and out.

My guess is they wouldn't start a women's team until after they built a second rink. With basketball starting to invade the confines of the Tsongas Center, rink time is going to be at a premium.
