Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread

Jasmine is still with us...

Word. I was more than impressed. I emailed back and said so. I hadn't sent anything- don't know if someone did or if they read here.

Basically said they were made aware of the situation, no trying to make excuses (which really garnered my respect!) They weren't happy to hear it happened, that they try and keep the opposing folks in C. They have addressed with the arena staff/ people to make sure to check tickets in this type of situation. Let him know if there are problems.

What happened? There appears to be a large number of BU fans making the trip to teh game - the allotment sent to Agganis is sold out apparently - we'd like to avoid any seating snafus.

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread

The NU syudents decided to move into our section, stand all the time and this meant that there were many in that section that couldn't see and had to move. They sell tix in section C for opposing fans. The NU people do this every yr- move around like nomads until they land in a section, You could watch them moving as a group from section to section~ kind of like pigeons on the electric lines. (never the one they have tix for.)

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread

Was looking at the box scores again before voting for the players of the game and noticed something interesting: Of the 33 shots the team had against Northeastern, 11 of them were off the stick of Kory Falite. I recall him taking a lot of shots, but that seems like an awfully high total.

Whatever you may think of BU fans, they do manage to sit in the seats they purchased, so hopefully there will not be a recurrence of what happened with the NU fans. :)

I also noticed that Lowell won more faceoffs then NU by a small margin. Watching the game it seemed like NU won every big draw.

The comparison of NU students to pigeons is true on a number of levels.

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread

hello to all. I am new to the fan forum and the season thread,
but not to uml hockey. Good start thus far; for those of you
who have seen games, what are your thoughts on Riley Wetmore?
He has picked up some points in the first few, but anything else
you see? Looking forward to Fri. nights game.

kid's a hockey player for sure. does a good job controlling the puck along the boards, can hit pretty well, moves the puck and knows where to be on the ice. he's been exactly what you'd expect from a solid freshman contributor thus far, no more and no less.

Re: UML '09/'10 Season Thread

Good news everyone! Benedetto is reffing Friday's affair with BU to personally oversee Lowell getting dicked over again.

I love this league.
