This is the 2nd time Stafne has been arrested for assault. Not only that, but he was abusive to the police. Similar situation to the prior arrest of the lacrosse player in Virgina who was tasered by police and then ended up killing his girlfriend.

Doubt there is a college in America that would risk the liability of taking this Srafne now.

I love that this thread was started by the obssesive SCSU fanbase who lays claim to Mr. Conboy with a nice 2004 felony drug charge! Nice. Lets not forget the revolving door of plagerists in your program.

First, none of those things have anything to do with beating your girlfriend (even though Conboy did hit a girl I know while at SCSU). Second, it's news. Would your wang be all hard and ready to come in here and cry if someone from Denver had started the thread? Probably not. It's like you have sonar for when you need to cry about an SCSU fan/player/admin doing something that makes you sad. Get a life.

I am guessing he will be cut, and UMD should. Second time he has been in trouble with the police. He most likely has a very serious anger issue. Among other issues.

I'm just fishing here but this UMD recruit could come back halfway through the year to put up 15-20 points and destroy Kevin Wehrs enroute to a first round playoff series win over the goofs, that would be a good start to UMD's 2010-2011 NCAA run.....No?

I'm just fishing here but this UMD recruit could come back halfway through the year to put up 15-20 points and destroy any defenseman not named Nick Leddy enroute to a first round playoff series win over the goofs, that would be a good start to UMD's 2010-2011 NCAA run.....No?

Hey, I love watching everything horrible happening to tUMD's hockey program and Duluth in general, but I'm not gonna pile in on this one... just a crappy situation and I really hope what we think happened didn't happen, and if it did, that he never sees a college hockey roster.
