I am sure most UMD fans feel the same way. The situation is a little easier for the UMD program and fans since the guy wasn't exactly a great player. If it was a top recruit something like this would really hurt. As is stands the guy most likely will never make it on campus and soon everybody will forget about him.

We would have to ask Sloegin about that but I'm going to assume from his previous posts that Sloegin thinks the poor girl begged to be beaten and dressed up for the occasion.

I wish people wouldn't even bring in his ability as a player. It has nothing to do with it. I would wish him gone whether he was a 3rd string practice goalie or an All-American, and this kind of behavior damages the program no matter who he is. Ugh. This off-season has just sucked so much.

Ahhh it's always nice to see Happy back in the BOX.
I suppose that's better than choking it away at midseason like Lucia does.
But hey, think of the positives...at least Schroeder didn't leave at midseason like Okposo. Although if you look at his points for the season, he kind of did.

This whole thing is stupid. Just goes to show how the media and society have enabled us to consider who is at fault and who is the victim without even receiving a verdict. I'm not saying he's innocent, because he's probably not. But I'd wait for all the information to come out before throwing him under the bus.

He wasn't at SCSU to play hockey, he had to be coaxed by Barta into even talking to Motzko about the team, so his "hockey career" here doesn't matter.

But he failed when he dressed up as The Cat in the Hat!
Granted, Mitch doesn't play much...but he came down here to go to school. Barta found him working at JC Penny or something and asked if he wanted to walk on. The kid didn't even have a scholarship. I don't count him with Coole and Kronick.

Exactly, he wasn't here to play hockey, he didn't leave UMD and decide to play for us, he decided to go to school.

But whether you choose to count him in the same category as Coole or Kronick doesn't change that he is a hockey player who played for UMD, left, and resurfaced at St, Cloooud.
