Just checked my home phone and there was a missed call from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts at 4:51 this afternoon. My girlfriend would have loved it if we were home and Pendenza made that call. She loves that kid!

Not hockey related ... but a really cool story from the world of soccer. If this doesn't move you, don't know what will.

Over 3,000 fans showed up, and the young boy scored four goals. :)

Not sure if this was mentioned ... but we're playing UNH Nov 1st (home) and 2nd (away).

Interesting to see UNH's non-conf schedule... 2X Michigan (home), 2 @ CC, Ice Breaker Tournament, Harvard, Brown, Florida Everglades Tournament, 2X UNO (home), 2X Union (home) and Dartmouth (home). Outside of the two tournaments, all but the games at CC are home.

No, but the Big 10 schedule is coming out tomorrow. I'm hoping that includes our non-conference games with Michigan, Michigan State and Penn State.

I think you meant they are in the top 150 in the ROI rankings, not that only 150 schools have a positive ROI...that would be really sad if it were true.

Looking at that list though... Makes you wonder about the growing thought on those who skip the 4yr degree for a blue-collar skill job w high potential for somebody smart enough.

It's ROI but what is it against? All non-college grads? If love to know where the real line is. A negative overall ROI must speak horribly.

Edit: sad to see all the HBCUs in the red, horrible they aren't getting what they pay for
