1. quick controlled puck movement on the power play. No panic, if you aren't the answer on the points shuffle it around and somebody else will find an answer. the power play is all about getting the opportunity to find holes. Make them work, no trickery
2. opportunism. Shoot first and don't panic if it doesn't work out. Trust your stick and find holes and seams.

Emphasis on #2. STOP passing up on shots. There are no bad shots on goal at this point.

mlax 67/77 and 3-3... creamed by Fairfield 19-4... don't expect much. 2 more wins tops (NJIT 72, Bingo 57).

I'll look into if there a computer rankings for baseball and softball.... but both of their records are bad so I don't expect much

This season is already a success for Men's Lax. They hadn't won a game for 2 seasons.

alright, i'm going to say this, i don't know how you can fire dead center into a diving body. its not like they're hiding
 
because i'm a glutton for punishment, I looked up prices for plane tickets to orono... pass... though there's a surprising number of directs to bangor
 
40 shots on goal. Nice to finally see something that resembles an attack. Good win by the team, and at least get one more game. It was wonderful to see the freshmen step up and they really seemed extremely happy to get the win.
 
Watching the game last night, the team had points where they dominated, but after they scored the first goal, they took their foot off the gas, and definitely paid for it. This win should give the boys some motivation for saturday. We've played maine tough.....and as we all say WHY NOT US

Bad news for the Men's Basketball team, not a total surprise.

. The America East ‘Rookie of the Year’ averaged 13.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 3.7 assists this season, shooting 40.5% from three.
 
saw that the team will have a total of 1 minute of playing time from last year returning... NOT GOOD

Well, that stat is wrong. It's not that far off, but it's wrong. Returning students that played this year are:

Keenan Bay - 31 minutes over 3 games
Armani Perkins - 11 minutes over 3 games

That's it. No idea what's in the pipeline for recruiting, but there were 2 other freshmen on the roster this season that never played. The 4 returning players (as of now) are 3 guards and a forward. Gonna need to hit the portal often just to field a team every night.

Right now, they only have one high school commit for next season.

Technically Ephraim Acquah could return for a fifth year since he missed all of 2022-23, but at this point I don't think he would be more than a reserve player.

He was on the roster and not redshirted. He can't come back for another year.
