Feel bad for Crasa. Didn't play that bad, actually outplayed UMASS overall just didn't get it done. Now we wait.
It's real simple at this point:
Minnesota State
Quinnipiac
UMass
If just 1 of those 3 wins tomorrow, we are in the NCAAs. If all 3 somehow lose, then we'll see you in October.

No we didn't outplay UMass.
edit: the way we play is very very high chance. It relies on more talent than what we have. The reality is that it relies on a lucky bounce or two and teams like UMass are going to snuff those out.
Congratulation to the Hawks for getting back to the Garden. I thought the Hawks played hard and generated some good chances but they just don't have the finish that Amherst has. The Minutemen always seem to be in the right place and make the right play. They also blocked 21 shots. Hopefully the Hawks get at least one more game this season.

MSU wins it in overtime 2-1
It's a moot point as Umass won, but apparently Minn-State may not have actually won. They awarded the trophy and the arena was emptied, but the goal is somehow under review.
CCHA posted an Official Statement. Apparently, the goal was immediately reviewed and determined to be a good goal. Then they found new angles that showed that the net was elevated and they reviewed it again with the new angles and determined it was not a good goal.
FWIW, I have not seen a replay from any angle that supported it was a good goal.
In any event, game on!
