Couple of big games this weekend against a ranked opponent in their own barn. Important not only in terms of getting some of the freshmen (and the whole team) a chance to build some chemistry on the road, but also in terms of the PWR at the end of the year.

Go Hawks!

Who was the lowell player from a few years ago with the bad teeth?

Where is the #U%@U%%@) offense? One goal a game ain't cutting it and wasting unbelievable goaltending by Boyle which is unbelievable I'm actually saying that and Boyle in the same sentence.

Pretty much everyone we're expecting scoring from needs to step up asap.

And stop trying to make stupid, fancy plays which lead to turnovers which in this case was on the PK and resulted in M-D's second goal. Just clear the puck and stop trying to be over-creative (this is how I interpreted what was described on the radio that led to the goal).

Very accurate. I turned to MaryK when that happened and pretty much said the same thing. That being said, for the 2nd half of the game they WERE trying to shoot more and pass less, and it did help but it just wasn't enough. I didn't think we had really possessive control for more than 40% of the game, and that might be a stretch.

Ok, that's a bit more like it. Two power play goals by Zink 43 seconds apart early in the second period puts UML up 3-1. Keep it up and put an end to the offensive drought.

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread

4-1 Lowell at end of second period. They’re sounding much more aggressive tonight, working hard, shooting and no apparent casual play or trying to be too fancy. Offense seems to finally be waking up, not wasting another strong defensive effort.

Zink – 2g
Mueller 1g, 1a
Gambardella –1g,1a
Smith 3a
Chapie 2a
Fallon 1a

2 of the 4 goals on power play. Lowell's killed both of UMD's power plays. Boyle's given up one goal on 16 shots.
