UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread II

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread II

It was your ticket for a bit ... but she changed her mind (and got the time off), so she's going. Sorry...

No worries.
I ended up buying tickets at the Garden box office yesterday at the student ticket price. Didn't even ask for a student ID.

Too bad... would have been an interesting experience

Channel 7 in Boston ran a feature piece on the Riverhawks tonight at 6:00 during their sports segment. I couldn't find it on their web site but it was a story about the season with interviews of Norm, A.J., and Kevin.

Thanks for the heads up. Hopefully they're rerun it, watching the 7 News at 10PM on CW56 now.

This is fantastic: "To address the elephant in the room, we are aware that Providence won the national championship last season. What we have been unable to deduce, however, is just exactly how it was pulled off. The most obvious answer is sorcery. "

Heh.

Look how far we have come- the magic 4 have only one contender in the mix. UNH, BU and Maine are all sitting this one out. Teams that were 'dragging down' the league are making a trip to Boston (well except Amherst :p).

Realized this past week that a few years ago I would have moved heaven and earth to be able to get to Boston and trying to get time off for the Regionals was not a consideration. Now... We have gone so many times I am not afraid if I miss this time there won't be another.

Forgot to add- c'est la guerre until Saturday night, then Viva L'Alliance!!

(why is war 'la', the feminine?)

Re: UMass Lowell 2015-2016 Season Thread II

The French would assume war would be an attractive woman.

I truly hope you'll be there tomorrow, never, ever take any of this for granted as we went years before this stretch. We thought the mid 1990s would last and it didn't, took many years to get back to the NCAAs, let alone the occasional Garden appearance. You never know when the next one will come.
