As long as we're not involved, I don't care. Should be Minnesota or some other non-Pacific club.

It'll be a UMass vs UConn rivalry game.

Maybe we'll get thrown a bone and have a UML vs Maine "Tim Whitehead used to coach here" game as the matinee special at 4 PM on the third Wednesday of the month bookended by charity skates from disadvantaged Weston youths whose parents could only afford one Mercedes and one Audi.

Frozen Fenway 2016?

Oh good more games in the rain.

I hope they have it at Gillette this time. I've never seen a hockey game at Fenway. I can only imagine the view of the ice is horrible unless you're on the roof deck. If it's at Gillette, the tickets for the NHL game might be more affordable and at least the view will be fine around most of the stadium.

I wonder if Hockey East would even participate in games at Gillette? It seems like the atmosphere for college would be terrible.

I just posted this in the BU thread - New Year's Day is on a Friday next year. I don't know if they could have it at Gillette as it could possibly conflict with a Patriots game. Not sure if next year's schedule is done - would that be the last regular season game? Would it be a potential playoff game? Not sure if they could tie up the stadium with a rink during that time.

It's been a pleasantly surprising first half of the season.

Surprises/thoughts?

I liked Gambardella last year, but he's been even better this season. Same with Campbell. Goal is still a question mark which is a bit nerve racking.

Zink's play this season has been a surprise to me especially the offensive side.

Is anyone going to the Bridgeport tournament. I would like to go if anyone is going.

As a few of us were discussing today, I'd wait until you get there to buy your tickets. The tickets are $15, but the fees are $13.50. I'm just getting mine when I get down there.

Another solid effort from the Flagship tonight...
At home even. Holy ... wow.

They've given up 5.3 GPG in league play so far this year.

Sad fact, UMass has given up more goals in 10 league games this year than 8 HE teams gave up in all 20 games last year.
