UMass Lowell 2014-2015 Season: The March to March Thread II

Re: UMass Lowell 2014-2015 Season: The March to March Thread II

And that is why I go and eat before or after the game. I rather not risk hockey-related stress eating over food that isn't even the real deal.

they were giving away Fio's subs as a promotion during the game when I was at Lowell. Somebody had a bad reaction to one of them or something and we basically started cat calling it as a group as poison the rest of the season.

edit: you know, with food quality and going after higher quality tastes becoming a thing nowadays... if one presses hard enough maybe you could get some of those things.

It's totally different. Kind of like how they slap the Papa Gino's name on that pizza at Fenway.

While I'm no fan of the product, I can tell you that those aren't frozen and that they make them in that room to the left of the stand, seen it myself, and it's Sal's, for better or worse, just like at the new University Crossing.

I look forward to the pizza and beer at Tsongas. The pizza is better than all but one Whitt food option and the beer...

Now on my list: visit an actual Sal's location.

The Pre-Game Headquarters will once again be at The Harp.

Has anyone purchased their tickets through the website yet? I'm rather confused as to how 3 tickets at $74 each is $237 (plus a $10 handling fee on top)? I just called the ticket office to get my seats instead. Yes, it's only $5, but it's still incorrect.

Did you choose the Loge Front Row option? Those were a few $$ more per seat.

Edit: Definite math issues on the site. Multiple people having issues, have called Christine to let her know

I probably had the same issue but was in a rush this morning so I didn't notice. If some $ got refunded I wouldn't complain.

Any word on Campbell? He didn't dress Sunday right? Hope nothing major.

After reading Monty's post I ducked out of work early and bought my tix at the Tsongas Box Office. Glad I did after reading your post.

They are leaving UMass left and right sucks for them.

Yeah and Amherst wasn't that good even with them so now they're really up a creek. I'm still convinced they go there and realize afterwards they meant to go to UMass Lowell and end up at the wrong UMass. Can't believe they get these recruits when Lowell has the championships and NCAA appearances the last few years. Unless they don't fit Bazin's system/mold which is probably the case.

The "flagship" has a bigger budget than Lowell and will always beat us in the recruiting department. What we have at Lowell is a Coach that played here, understands the City and style that Lowell plays, and CARES.

How many times does Norm say, "Lowell Hockey?" when he is interviewed?

We will never get the blue chip recruits. We will get the kids who want to go to College, play in front of good crowds, and play for Norm.

And we've been doing fine by that the past four years! I keep thinking about Gambo's play with no stick on the penalty kill Sunday and that just tells the whole story there.

Hell, I'm shocked Maine is still recruiting so well. It makes you wonder what's being told to these kids and what's being promised. I dunno, winning this weekend would help.
