As usual the glass is half full with a hole in it. I'm not happy with the outcome but I'm not reactionary enough to jump ship yet. Carr had way too much ice time last yr with no back up they could use comfortably. This was a non-conference game. Why not give the kid a shot? He was doing OK after 2 (when admittedly I fell asleep) and if he had won you wouldn't have been wailing. The 2 he gave up that I was listeneing to weren't awful goals. I was much more concerned with the lack of ability to put it in between the pipes.These aren't "kinks". This is a trend. Two games played. Two goals on 77 shots. 12 penalties for 35 minutes.
And on what god forsaken planet do you not start one of the top goalies in the country? Someone explain that to me in a way that makes sense. How does Carr not start that game? There's no excuse for it.
