I know, he convinced the staff that he needed to play. He is a very good player, but I'd hate to make an injury worse when you have the NHL in your sights. He seems to have come out of it OK, which I am glad for. We like to see those Vermont boys do well!

Saturdays are always lighter for students than Fridays... but I wouldn't expect a very good student turn out for the rest of the year, unless this team goes on an incredible run.

you can start with Northeastern this Saturday. We're.. (to put it mildly).. not good.

Is this the part where we tell you Hope springs eternal? Maybe the 2 teams will pull themselves together and play real hockey :p

Odds Lowell puts up 4 goals? not so much. I think you'll see two teams trip over themselves (similar to lowell/princeton) and at some point they're right the ship, some goals will be scored, and lowell comes out on top 2-1.

Look as sad as this situation is, I don't care if we win 1-0 and NU puts the puck in their own net. At this point, 2 points is 2 points. We're at the desperate stage folks. Something I think none of us saw coming this season.
