You know for a company that was either founded in Lowell or Tewksbury that's quite horrible

I was born in this great city, and I'm proud that I go to Lowell! Both because of the history of the city and the people that are at the school! This year has been so great to watch at the Tsongas, there isn't a place I'd rather watch the game later today... (unless I'm at the game!) For all those going, I WANT TO HEAR YOU (p.s. make Barry Melrose eat his words he made last year)

Many a location you name a bar in Lowell they most likely will have it (don't know about the worthen)! Beerworks and I believe the old court have said they will be hosting parties

Good luck to all of us today.

One of my giant pet peeves among sports fans is when they refer to their team as "we" - as in "we beat the Yankees today". To that I say, unless you're actually on the team then no, no you didn't. "They beat the Yankees".

But in this case, it's definitely a "we". This weekend is for all of the alum, all of the faculty, all the administration and all of the current students. This is a community that I'm proud to be part of -- my degrees from Lowell and my affiliation with the alumni organization are part of who I am as a person. And while big-time college sports definitely have their problems too, I can understand the people who like college sports over pros. THIS is what makes following my college team so much more meaningful to me.

I can not WAIT for the puck to be dropped in a few hours. Good luck to us all!! And I hope that everyone that was fortunate enough to make the trip to Pitts represents us well.
