I asked for a press pass so I could shoot at BU (also doesn't allow detachable lenses btw) and BC and was denied. The Connector really wanted some pics for BU last Friday too but sadly they can't get me a press pass directly since I'm not a student.

What a great win for Lowell. I think I was most impressed with how hard everyone played, especially after giving up a goal. Right after BC scored both goals, Lowell had put so much pressure on them. BC couldn't even get it out of their own zone. Such an impressive win. Really looking forward to Friday night. Lets keep riding Hellebuyck!!!

Glad I got my tickets for Sunday - thanks to MaryK for information on $5 tickets.
If my calculations are right last night puts Hellebuyck over the 40% plateau overall (40.07%?), needs a couple more games this weekend to get there in conference. At some point today his name should be at the top of the HEA goalie list, ahead of UNH and Prov. goalies - congratulations.

I chuckled at that one. Where has JG gone? He's been unusually quiet as of late. Not much last night and was very hemmed in at Merrimack on Sunday.

This is so much fun ... can it not end for another couple of months please? Following the game through Twitter and MaryK's texts (thanks Mary!) and it was heartwrenching till I finally got Bob on the internet.
I absolutely love the response by Lowell to both of BC's goals. "OK, fine you scored ... now our turn."
Will be interesting with the Mack series last night with Marotta getting pulled. While I'm sure he'll start, I'm always nervous to see a guy who is ****ed off (and hell, that entire team should be after that loss last night).

Last night was the best overall game they played all season IMO. They were sharp in both ends and were able to lock down BC's transition game. When BC tied it at 2, I thought it was going to get a little scary. Lowell instead just wore the Eagles down and outplayed them in every facet. Huge win and hopefully the can continue to peak at the right time. Since December 8th the Riverhawks are 15-2-1, wow.

Also, BTW, I just ordered 26 tickets, and they said they weren't going to be put them all together. In other words, tickets are selling for Friday.
I remember that, and there was a sense of excitement about that. But playing for first place (potentially)...?
