UMaine '26-'27: The Bridge On the River Stillwater

Poirier padding those goal stats. 2 tonight. And pedo state is losing to 0-4 Robert Morris 3-2 at home with 7 minutes left

Full lineup at practice aside from Romaine. He was watching from afar but imagine it'll be a while before we see him in the lineup.

If I were guessing I'd think similar to the Holy Cross series, we'll see some different lineups this weekend, including a split in net.

One big takeaway from all the practices I've made it to is the Alex Kurtz hire this offseason being a slam dunk. He's been very hands-on with the players during every practice I've been to, especially with the defensemen. Looks like a rising star in the coaching ranks and seems like he could very easily become a head coach somewhere down the road.

Bell made some absurd saves on the first period, but there was no stopping what was to come.

One of my favorite stats that season was that for the first 30 or so games, we scored more SHG than we allowed on the power play. Even with only four skaters on the ice we were still better than your five. That number eventually reversed itself in the playoffs, but it was still damned impressive.

A handful of tickets just became available for the weekend. Tonight has a pair in section G and a few in F. Both nights have limited seats in the balcony and section OO in the upper bowl.

I'm expecting a real nice student turnout both nights. Maybe I will see @iowabasedtraveler there tonight. Good luck bud!
I am sitting in the Alfond Arena parking lot right now. Sadly, I don’t think our chances are very good this weekend… we are 0-4 after being swept at Stonehill and at home by New Hampshire. We played 13 periods in those four games (as one went into OT) and we out-scored our opponents in just two of those 13 periods. Yikes!
We have no offense. Our defense appears weak. And our goalie Reid Dyck has played well, but you can’t ask one young man to do everything. Jake Schneider has two shorties already, too.
If Maine gets outscored by Colgate in more than one period this weekend, you really need to look in the mirror and ask ‘why?’ as we just haven’t looked good at all (and I went to all four ‘Gate games so far). Anyway, have a great season and I truly hope to see y’all in D.C. in April.
