The USCHO Fan Forum has migrated to a new plaform, xenForo. Most of the function of the forum should work in familiar ways.

Much better third period. In all, I think it was a solid win, despite a shaky second period. I think I would agree with blackbears9's three stars, also with a shoutout for Fowler.
Fowler and Scholle took shots that game. Holy Cross blocked a lot but Maine peppered the net. Couple bounces or saves their goalie made prevented a more lop sided affair. Fowler looked gassed/slow on that break away, but love everything about him. Good win
Well-fought road win. Still room to improve, as the second period made obvious. But overall, really liked the work rate out of the squad tonight. On to tomorrow night in the bigger venue. Looks like this 26-27 team is generally headed in the right direction.
I don't think that they will be gifted a 5 minute major to start the game tomorrow night so will be interesting to see how this team responds to 5 on 5 out of the gate. Holy Cross will get some wins this season.....their tender definitely kept them in the game.
Liked the intensity, skating and general team work....refreshing! Goals might be hard to come by....hopefully more chemistry as the season goes on will lead to better scoring chances. Boija was a bit up and down but men tally seemed like in a much better place compared to last season.
