UMaine 25-26: Marques My Word: Back to the Big Time

It's not a matter of them needing more seats, it's that they need more people to answer the phones. It could be a 10,000 seat arena but it's irrelevant if there's no one to sell tickets.
My point was of the high demand.
Just take a deep breath.

I think there is only one person working the ticket office, his name is Logan, and today was his birthday. What a way to spend a birthday. Being haggled by a thousand rabid fans.

I wonder why they don’t just sell the tickets online? At least, it appears to me that online wasn’t working today.

Still haven't been able to get through to the ticket office...

Ben Barr will be on the WEEI/NESN Jimmy Fund radiothon on Monday morning at 7:30.

Flex plans will go on sale Tuesday morning. Any 5 games (pending availability) starting at only $84.

Yep, most said they couldn’t get any combo to work. Some said they got tickets only to the least popular games in the bleacher areas.
There's basically no seats for the whole season minus some holdbacks for players etc

This is becoming literally the hottest ticket in town

Really glad I got my club seats on Barrs first season I knew something was cooking it would take some time

From all accounts the reno is pretty awesome and I believe beer will be served this year

It was served last year.

Email survey went out looks like they want to do digital tickets this year for season tickets holders
While I generally don't mind a push to more things being digital, concert and sports tickets are one of the few things that I actually appreciate being physical so I'll delay until they force me to make the switch.

I’m not sure if this is bad news but it’s certainly not good news https://thewaltdisneycompany.com/espn-dtc/

Hopefully hockey doesn’t move to that new package. The old espn+ was a great deal for hockey fans.
It's not even news. ESPN+ is just a "channel" that's part of the ESPN Select package at the same price point. And if you already had ESPN through your cable or streaming provider, you still have everything you normally would. Nothing changes.

The only difference is you no longer need a cable/streaming subscription to access the main channels (ESPN, Deuce, etc.) Those are now available, along with everything under the Worldwide Leader umbrella, direct to consumer for $30/mo.

Just a reminder to get your tickets for the December 10th game verses UM-Lowell in Portland's Cross Insurance Arena. Cyber Club members just went live, tomorrow it opens up to the general public.

Drove by the rink today first time this summer, things are coming along, lots of work going on with the outdoor patio area in front of the new alfond entrance and the parking/drive area out front.
Lots to do in a short time for the opener.

I noticed the frat house across college ave from the back entrance into the alfond looked like its vacant, cleaned out. Could it be getting demo'd? Maybe for parking?

The TKE house, wow what a dump, worse its been. Tear that thing down and put in parking. No apologies to the ex tke'rs.
