It appears as though we need help from UNH. I knew that UNH would not follow up and do anything useful after sweeping Maine at Alfond. Just to be a pain in Maine’s ass I bet UNH folds like a cheap tent.

Just think if Maine had won those games against UNH.

Another good win, Rosseau was cool calm and collected in the 3rd. Djuresevic looked like last years version. it was good to see. Need another win and then we play whoever in the tourney.

Probably 4th place and home ice for quarters would have been the floor, instead it is our ceiling.

It is what it is, Maine obviously wasn’t good enough if they get swept by UNH at home.

It is just UNH didn’t do anything with their momentum and now are going nowhere. They need a new coach. Souza isn’t developing players well. They seem to be solid at the start of the season when the players come off summer training. but worst in class by the end of the season after Souza’s coaching and development has settled in.

Blasphemy !! You obviously don't know what you're talking about. UNH has a fabulous young coach who is developing the program from the bottom up. Sousa is bringing in some nice young talent, coaching them up and will be making a late run at the tourney. Titletown Durham will soon see the fruits of his efforts !

It's nice to see Maine play pretty good the last two weekends and not take a lot of penalties for a change. The defense and puck movement also looks a lot better than it has most of the season. This see if they can maintain momentum and continue the win streak in Vermont and the HE playoffs.

Though not likely Maine still can get an at large bid into the NCAA tournament if results are favorable and they win a couple more games. Just this upcoming week/weekend alone Maine could go up to 13th in the NPI. (With a regulation win at Vermont, BC/UMASS/UCONN losing, and CCHA teams losing/cannibalizing each other in their BO3's)

The standings are a literal cluster right now. Anyone watch the Uconn/Umass ending? I'm no Uconn fan but the lights going out on a 2 on 1 in OT for Uconn is BS and likely cost them that extra point..shady shit. With that said, if anything I'd rather play the extra game at home as the 6 seed. DO NOT WANT the 5 seed. Basically your best case scenario for this coming weekend is hoping that BU loses, and UMass or UConn get swept. Otherwise pray we end up in 6th.

Should be a penalty shot for pulling crap like that.
