Maine wastes no time on the PK
5-2 Merrimack. And I'm outta here.
Marty in Goal, this should be special.
The team beats a few patsies, everyone gets excited, faces a real team and here we go again

[/QUOTE]Like the old saying "What comes around goes around"...lets hope TW's run ends this season. I-95 South >>>>>>>>>>>>>.Yup. Couldn't agree more.
TIMMAY is what he is: a middling coach whose teams will stumble along +/- 3 or 4 games around the .500 mark. That's what he is, and that's all he will be, and that's all his teams will be, no matter how hard he and they might try. He'll beat the crappy teams most of the time, but just can't compete with those at the top of the standings.
Wonder if he ever lays awake nights wishing he hadn't run Guy and Grant out of town?
you n me both. I probably went to 18 away games per season from 93 till 2009Not sure when it happened - I'm thinking about 36 months ago - but it's been a while since a Maine loss either surprised me, or kicked me in the gut.
Tonight was more of the same; I watched MI/OSU, ND/WMU and MN/UND instead of even considering subjecting myself to the Maine webcast.
Apathy is Maine hockey's worst enemy, and believe me, I used to drive for hours in crap weather all Winter long, just see my Bears play anywhere... I'm the last guy on Earth who I would have expected to quit caring about what happens on a given night, but that has more-or-less happened to me.
We are all just playing the waiting game these days.
(Go Blue, just the same.)
