How else is "Gopher fans who truly think they will sweep ARE going to be disappointed" to be read? Is there some element of non-absolutism that I am missing in that?

I thought his post-it note was good for any series. And I know Anchorage is heading to Carnival.... I've been disappointed in the mediocre level of ponies

Not making a showing this weekend. Sorry to disappoint.

Road series, against a team who we like to give wins to now and again, to be charitable and show our goodwill. Might let you take up to 2 points this weekend, since we're so good this year.

This is hockey. When two teams close to each other in ability meet, any combo of points is possible. "Highly unlikely" implies that you think St. Cloud is a far superior team (a la, it is 'highly unlikely' AA would sweep a 1st or 2nd place team) to MN, which I don't think you'll find many people agreeing with. They are close. Split might be highest probability, but a sweep by either is also very possible.

And it was the Gopher B-Ball team playing Michigan, who thought the outcome was ever in doubt? We all knew Michigan would win.

This thread is too rational, we need more of EASTgrandforks guy and some of the JBSU psychos in here. Or Skeets, that'll wash out any logic or reason from the thread.
