We've got a serious in with the CPC in the CCHL. Any idea what the connection is?

Got three on our current roster: Larson, Dodson, and Merkley.

Two committed in Mosley and Francis. Hope we keep 'em comin'.

This has to be the youngest UAH commit ever. And he may end up being the most high profile.

Flynn is 6'0 and around 160 lbs. Outside of the goalies, he's the only '02 skater on TPH's U16 squad. After putting up 67 points in 57 games last year for TPH's U14 team, he's even on OHL scouts' radars. If he can piece together a strong campaign, there's a number of people who think he could get an invite to NTDP Final 40 Camp.

A UAH commit playing for the US NTDP?! Would be insane.

That would be ... wow. I'm just glad we have a commitment where the chatter about him includes scouting groups and not just us. :)

So I’m sitting in Appleton, WI preparing for tonight’s Packers-Bears game and my trip to Tuscaloosa tomorrow. I’m chatting with a Canadian sounding gentleman sitting next to me. Turns out he was Conner Merkley’s Coach/GM at Jr B Westport. Also is very familiar with your other CCHL recruits. Small world!

Yeah, everytime I wish we'd do a worthwhile exhibition before we start games that count, I think of who we can play and again realize how impractical it is.

Confirmed this morning that Hank Sorenson has decommitted from UAH. Unfortunate loss for the 2018-19 recruiting class. Figure he's gotten interest from bigger, more prominent programs. Hopefully we'll be able to find someone else of his caliber.

That was short. He had committed to UAH in July. Oh well.
