Re: UAH Hockey 2013-14: Feeling like a real D-I program again
I also agree with the need for more blue in the home jerseys. I'd also like to see us go back to the white helmets that IS our history. We always stood out with them. Danton Cole introduced the black helmets which I think was part of his attempt to impart HIS mark on the teams direction/philosophy. It's time to go back to our long time traditions. Change doesn't have to ignore traditions. I also agree with Matt Parker's comments about going back to blue pants as a way to get more blue into our home uniforms. We did it for over 25 years and I, for one, would welcome those changes back.
Love the banners... points, borders and all!!! Back in the late Doug Ross era we tried to get this done. I've still got the drawings somewhere. The three club championships were on a single banner; CHA regular season and CHA championship banners were of the "add-the-year" type and no Doug Ross banner then of course. Also no NCAA appearance banner then either. I had over $2,000 committed to the project from fans and businesses but the powers-that-be cancelled it and even chastised our fund raising saying it would take away money from the departments fund raising efforts. The funny thing about that was that none of the fans or businesses I had commitments from were ever contacted by UAH!!! Kinda makes one wonder...Because I didn't want Geof to have all the editorial fun:

Not really controversial topics. I just want the home jerseys to have more blue than black, and more historical representation at the VBC.
