Next year, I would expect Zucker, Shore and Wrenn to be in the mix for Team USA. Donovan will be too old.

Lets hope for a good game and come out with few points. Kinda overdue for ties this year so hoping we get one this weekend, so i can catch up to the point leaders.

The seawolves last game was a 3-2 loss against St. Cloud on Dec. 5th. While Denver just came from behind to defeat a good BC team 4-3.

Matt Donovan won't play for the Pioneers this weekend after winning a Gold Medal for Team USA at the WJCs. He's headed home to Oklahoma for a few days for a rest and will be back at DU over the weekend. DU did fine in the Denver Cup without him.

DU Game Notes for this series. The notes also contain links to the UAA Game Notes and the WCHA Weekly Release.

Besides being INCH national player of the week, Rhett Rakhshani was WCHA co-Offensive Player of the Week and Patrick Wiercioch was Defensive Player of the Week.

TV for games is FSN Rocky Mountain live on both nights. FCS Central is showing Friday's game tape delayed at 1AM ET (11PM MT Friday) on Saturday morning and FSC Pacific is airing Saturday night's game live.

Kudos to Rhett and Patrick--they were both Great in the Denver Cup. And special notice to Drew Shore who was nominated for Rookie of the week.

You forgot about Eric Walsky :) Sure he didn't stick around, but you guys recruited him and he's getting close to breaking into the NHL with the Canucks. UAA is a talented team. When they are playing their style of hockey...no matter how goonish or ugly it can be....they are tough to beat.

I think it was a CC fan who said UAA would "goon it up" after their Friday night loss in the Springs. But they had to eat their words. Don't know what makes you say that, because that is not their style of play.

Lunden and Vidmar are out for this series, with continuing injuries, and word is that Christiansen was left home due to missing a practice over their long break. Go Jonnie O and Sidor! And Brad, congrats on getting to play your first UAA game! Come out fired up, guys!

DU completely healthy for once. Matt Donovan will sit out this series to enjoy his gold medal and will be back for Bucky and UND.

Ha I called the TIE correctly. :D

I picked a loss for saturday but I wouldn't have a problem with a win.
